Dental Press International Publishing has been present in the Brazilian publishing market for over 20 years and has stood out for the editorial and graphic quality of its products.
In 2010, Dental Press International Publishing launched its first English-language journal, the Dental Press Journal of Orthodontics, with the mission of disseminating the research and clinical techniques of Brazilian professionals to the international audience. In 2011, Dental Press Endodontics and Dental Press Implantology were also launched.
Numerous works by renowned authors have been published, including Sidney Kina and August Bruguera, Marcos Janson, Messias Rodrigues, Alberto Consolaro, Leopoldino Capelozza Filho, Ertty Silva, among others.
The publishing house also features professionals from various regions of Brazil and Latin America in its continuing education courses and programs.
Aware of the numerous opportunities and resources currently available, Dental Press is producing new apps geared towards dentistry, using new forms of interaction, such as including slideshows, videos, audios, and animated infographics instead of static and limited graphic resources, which are characteristic of printed publications.
Recently, Dental Press International launched journals in app format for the iPad tablet in a pioneering way: Dental Press Endodontics, Dental Press Journal of Orthodontics, and Dental Press Implantology. In just a few weeks, they were accessed by numerous users from various countries.
In addition to the journals, special interviews with Drs. Leopoldino Capelozza Filho, Tiziano Baccetti, and James A. McNamara Jr are now also available in app versions for the iPad, as well as the first orthodontics book for tablets, “Serial Extraction in Orthodontics,” authored by Paulo Roberto Barroso Picanço.
